The boilers were over 7 tonne each and had to be removed in one single unit, this was because the inside of the boilers were lined with Asbestos, therefore absolutely no damage could be done to them.Īnother tricky element of this job was that the boilers could not be removed using lifting equipment, this was because of the location of where they were situated within the building. ![]() Whilst we didn’t complete any of the installation or plumbing, we did have to remove all old equipment and position all new equipment, ready for the plumbers to begin works. This particular client also required all personnel on site to undergo security checks and background checks, something which all of our staff passed with ease. A client approached us asking us to remove several cast iron boiler systems, and replace them all with new, modernized equivalents, this involved replacing everything from the boilers to the pipework.
